What Does Caring Look Like?

Is it written in the crinkles of a smile dancing in the corners of the eyes? Is it a silent, tender glance? Or is it more exuberant and spontaneous?
We’re teaming up with Kodak to get the whole, beautiful picture of caregiving in America. We want to see the faces of caring in your community—every gorgeous one of them. Young, old. Family, friends, and strangers. Paid, volunteer, or just doing what comes naturally. In-home, hospital, or hospice; schools, assisted living, and shelters.

Look for them, capture them, and send them to us.  We’ll make a montage to celebrate these quiet heroes and show them to the song Caring by Megan McDonough!

But wait there’s More...Prizes!

Kodak has been helping the world tell their personal stories for 130 years, and now they want to help you tell yours, with state of the art photo gear like video cameras, digital cameras and digital picture frames. If your photo is selected, you could win!

We don’t have a lot of heavy handed rule-rules, but we do have some guidelines:

  • Be creative.  Your picture should tell a story of caregiving, and that covers a wide range.  So think about how you can show us a little snippet from the big picture, one we might not necessarily have thought about.
  • Photos should be submitted as a jpeg.
  • We’ll need a signature of release from the people in the photo.  You can download the form here:
  • By submitting, you warranty that you are the creator and legal owner of the photo and all its rights.
  • By submitting, you are granting us permission to use your photo in our montage without regard to compensation.

Submission deadline is March 1st, 2010.

Send comepleted Consent Form and your photo as a JPEG attachment to: Caringphotos10@gmail.com

"Molly has worked with us for five years! She's written keynote speeches, presented customized keynotes and workshops, written, performed and produced sketch comedy and a hysterical film to kick—off our annual sales meeting… and she's easy and fun to work with. I would highly recommend her speaking and services."
